After nearly a year of absence, Spiral Trax, the original Scandinavian trance label is back! The main reason for our absence was due to lack of interesting music in the trance scene and generally bad times in the music business. We decided instead to spend all our energy on our progressive house label, ACDC that is currently receiving a lot of interest. Though, we always knew that the interest in top quality Scandinavian progressive trance would increase sooner or later helping us to continue recruiting new artists suitable for Spiral Trax.

It was just by the end of last year that we were introduced to a track by Gaudium that caught our attention. The track gradually developed into a whole album and we can proudly say that it is one of the most interesting acts to come out of Sweden since Atmos, Son Kite and Ticon. Nordic Nature is packed with high octane progressive trance numbers that will attract an audience that are used to the sounds of Spiral Trax, Iboga and Digital Structures as well as crowds that are more familiar to harder progressive house in the style of Marc O’Tool and Krüger & Coyle. With a bunch of releases and gigs at this summer’s festivals Gaudium is a name you will definitely hear a lot from. Progressive Scandinavian trance in its true sense!

In the year 2004 Denis Bajramovski and Andreas Wennersköld teamed up and formed the psy/progressive project “Gaudium” which means satisfaction in Latin. Denis and Andreas have similar background when it comes to music; they both began as Djs in the early dance era and took it all to higher level by starting producing their own music on the legendary Atari 1040STE.
Denis and Andreas had separately been involved in several underground music projects before they decided to start producing music together as Gaudium. Andreas was one half of Trance Control that became one of the most popular trance acts in the world. Starting in a basement, Trance Control turned into the most downloaded act ever at MP3.com. With 16 million downloads in total; sometimes up to16 000 downloads per day, gigs at the Love Parade in Canada and USA also including a debut album that sold more than 20 000 copies they were HUGE to say the least.
