Spiral Trax
International is very proud to present the original Polish trance act.
Tromesa are
Tomek Roehr and Grzegorz Magnuszewski from Warsaw, Poland. They both have
a musical background with Tomek playing jazz saxophone for over 5 years
and Grzegorz the piano. Tomek is also one of the most successful DJ's
in Poland, where he has been promoting the trance sound since his return
to Poland from the U.K. in 1994.
They met
each other through a mutual friend at a party once and decided to try
making music together. This was over 5 years ago. Pseudomental is their
third album to date. However it is the first that has been released outside
of Poland. Their previous 2 albums, "Pasma Czasu" & "Gdyby" sold well
over 4,000 in Poland alone.
They have
had a string of international releases on various labels such as POF Music,
Psychic Deli, Phantasm, Dragonfly and Transient. Their first 12", which
appeared on Transient, got great reviews in various magazines around the
world.
Their latest
12" on Spiral Trax International was a huge success around the world,
including being labelled "the coolest bass line in trance history" by
Wax Magazine in the UK.
Pseudomental
has been recorded over the last year and is sure to be a breakthrough
for the Eastern European sound, a dark and twisted version of trance with
a bit of the old jazz influences thrown in for an added experimental twist.
Not to be
confused with Scandinavian trance this is Slavonik trance with a vodka
kick!!!
