The ultimate stress assassination...

"Within the office of eye and ear" is the first down tempo release from Spiral Trax.

Stress Assassin is a chilled electronic dub project from the 27-year-old Henrik Jonsson. Henrik has a broad artistic background: He has been studying in an art academy for three years, played in various bands and simultaneously participated in many exhibitions. Additionally, he has performed on open stages for expressionistic art, combining music and visual arts with parties. He also happens to be a dedicated graffiti painter in his spare time.

During his three years at the art academy, he received a scholarship and could afford to buy his first sampler. At the age of thirteen, while having his very first spliff, he was introduced to Jamaican dub. Ever since, he has been devoted to old tape delays and is a major collector of 70's dub records. We can hear that this has played a huge impact on his music making, as well as being influenced by old school Hip Hop and artists like Brian Eno, The Who and Tangerine Dream.

Lately he has been tied up in the studio with a reggae vocalist from Brooklyn. He is also the right hand of Atmos when he is performing live around the world. Together, they are forming 'Echölab', a project that is supposed to merge the trancey sounds of Atmos with the dubby sounds of Stress Assassin.
