With our second compilation of the Internationalism series, we have decided to focus only on Israel and the music produced there. Israel has had a long history in trance and heaps of producers of shifting quality. Even though full-on psychedelic trance has been the norm, Every genre is widely represented since the country itself lives and breathe trance. Lately however, a new sound has been occurring, a mix between the traditional full-on psychedelic trance with a more progressive sound… something closer to what we here at Spiral Trax are releasing.

What better person could we have chosen to compile the CD other than DJ Micha who used to be the A & R for the now defunct MDMA: once one of the leading underground dance music distributors in Israel?

Micha also has a long history in music making. 12 years ago, he started in a gothic band already that even released an album. Nowadays he has been busy with projects like Echotek, Reflex, and Neo Logic (together with Michel Bitton from Safi Connection). He has just released his Echotek debut album on Portuguese Flow Records. His productions have also granted him releases on labels such as Spirit Zone, Iboga, Shiva Space Technology and Plastik Park.

Internationalism Vol. 2 is a good showcase of what is happening music wise in the holy land right now. A hybrid of spacey atmospheric grooves, heavy on the bass while slightly melodic at times.

Volume 3 in the Internationalism series will be compiled by Dimitri D.K.N, formerly A & R for TIP World and now working with Solstice and Spun Records.
